Author J.K Rowling didn’t hold back from criticising problematic responses to the attack on London Bridge

Author J.K Rowling didn’t hold back from criticising problematic responses to the attack on London Bridge and Borough Market last night.
Rowling, author of the Harry Potter books and tweeter extraordinaire, called out the New York Times for saying the UK was ‘”still reeling from the shock of the bombing in Manchester almost 2 weeks ago”.
She tweeted:
The thugs who mowed down innocent people would love to think of the UK ‘reeling’ but it isn’t. Don’t confuse grief with lack of courage. https://t.co/9MEUfPLnkv
The Harry Potter author regularly criticizes Trump on social media and during speaking engagements (like the 2016 PEN Literary Gala), so it was no exception when she took to Twitter Tuesday morning to share that she’d “rather he didn’t come” at all.
