LEADING BREATHWORK EXPERT STUART SANDEMAN DETERMINED TO HELP BRITS BOUNCE PACK POST-PANDEMIC

The UK’s leading breath expert and founder of Breathpod, Stuart Sandeman has helped tens of thousands of people to live healthier, happier lives using the power of breathing to improve both their mental and emotional wellbeing through his powerful workshops, events, and online sessions.

Breathing coach, DJ and host of BBC Radio One’s Decompression Session Stuart Sandeman is here to help people lead better lives through breathing. Stuart has worked with award-winning artists, Olympic athletes, top business execs and global brands. Now, at a time of mass uncertainty, he is more dedicated than ever to help the nation bounce back post-Covid.

Although we breathe 20,000 times a day, many of us are unaware we’re not breathing effectively, inhibiting our bodily cells from reaching optimum oxygen levels. Stuart explains that by breathing ineffectively, we are limiting our ability to thrive in our personal and professional lives, and making ourselves vulnerable to negative thoughts, feelings and ill health. Stuart’s unparalleled expertise in his field drove him to create Breathpod; powerful sessions which help people break negative habits, beliefs, and patterns and move into a state of development, self-awareness, and growth. Stuart’s pioneering approach has enabled people to experience increased mental and emotional wellbeing, performance, energy, productivity, communication, confidence, and focus.

Stuart came to breathwork by accident. A former Scottish Judo champion, he swapped a career on the financial trading floor to become an international DJ, until his life was turned upside down when he tragically lost his girlfriend to cancer at the age of just 31. But a chance visit to a breathwork class would support his grief and open his eyes to the transformative power of breathing and the positive impact it could have on people and the planet. He soon made it his mission to blend breathwork, mindwork, and music to help others. As founder of Breathpod, he has worked with some of the biggest names in sport, business, and entertainment. From UFC fighters and Olympic athletes, global brands like Google, Nike, and Spotify, and even joining singer Lewis Capaldi’s UK tour to support anxious fans. DJ & TV presenter Chris Evans would later call him “the best of the best when it comes to your breath”.

During the pandemic, Stuart took his work online, hosting sessions via Instagram and Zoom. His fun, accessible and modern approach, inspired by his experiences as an athlete and a musician, and rooted in science and practical experience, have reached thousands of people, inspiring a thriving ‘Breathpod community’. Now, as restrictions lift, he is on a mission to help people around the world bounce back.
