FUTURE STARS OF THE WEST END & BROADWAY AUDITION FOR LAUNCH OF UK'S FIRST EVER SINGING WAITERS RESTAURANT

LIVERPOOL is renowned on the world stage for producing some of the most talented pop stars, bands and stars of stage and screen from the performing arts.

So it is no surprise that 16 of Liverpool’s most talented singers have been auditioned to star and perform in what is the UK’s first ever dedicated “Singing Waiters” American diner to the heart of Liverpool. MULHOLLAND bar and restaurant in Ropewalks will throw its doors open in full theatrical style when it launches on Wednesday 24th October 2018.

Modelled along the same lines as the famous Ellen Stardust diner in New York, every member of the waiting team is a singer and performer. Mulholland bar and restaurant will serve up exciting movie and musical themed dishes and delights, with show stopping singing waiters for the ultimate musical dining experience.

With a family friendly menu of classic American food, diners can experience the mouth watering guilty pleasures of wraps, bagels, pizza, hot dogs and much more for the ultimate Broadway style diner experience.

Somewhere Over The Rainbow – coloured nachos, a tasty slice of the Spice Girls Pizza to the mouthwatering Justin Bieberque style shredded chicken breast with the famous Mulholland Bieberque sauce. Each dish comes with its own unique tongue in cheek power ballad, film theme tune or musical chorus line. With a play on musical themes expect anything from Cajun Feel The Love Tonight – Don’t Cry For Me Margherita – A Tuna Matata – You Cant Stop The Beef – Supercalifragilisticexpiavocado – Park This Way to Good Morning Baltimore.

Mulholland also brings it’s own tasty slice of the Spice Girls with the Mulholland Spice Girls Pizza’s including Baby Slice – Scary Slice – Posh Slice – Sporty Slice and of course no pizza can be complete without the fiery Ginger Slice! Deserts and sweets are a real treat with a Total Eclipse Of The Tart – Hopelessly Devoted To Goo and Your’e The Scone That I Want! Each sizzling dish is topped off with a dazzling power ballad to a classical Disney style chorus line sung by one of the amazing Mulholland singing waiters.

Each of the singing waiters were hand picked and auditioned by Signature Living MD Kris Mochrie. All have with either performed in musical theatre shows and stage productions or are currently studying at various performing arts colleges across Liverpool including LIPA, Liverpool Theatre School, RARE, John Moore’s University, Van Netten school of performing arts and MAD.
