GOODBOX PARTNERS WITH MULBERRY TO OFFER INSTORE CONTACTLESS DONATIONS TO HELP RAISE VITAL FUNDS FOR THE FELIX PROJECT THIS FESTIVE SEASON

GoodBox, the fintech revolutionising how we give, has partnered with Mulberry to offer their award-winning contactless devices in stores around the UK to raise funds for The Felix Project. A number of the luxury fashion brand stores have been fitted with the devices to raise awareness of the charity and encourage shoppers over the festive period to give generously to this worthy cause with a simple tap.

Mulberry is also running a prize draw to win a pair of iconic Alexa bags and all customers who make an online donation are automatically entered into the competition. This is the third year running Mulberry has partnered with the project and the fashion brand has committed to match online customer donations pound-for-pound.

The Felix Project redistribute surplus food across London to ensure that people who would otherwise go hungry receive healthy, high-quality food – with each £1 donation providing over six meals. Mulberry is aiming to help the project provide 100,000 more meals this festive season and with the support of Pello Capital, the specialist leading independent brokerage, who are sponsoring the devices they are hoping to maximise donations throughout their generous community.

GoodBox supports the charity sector by providing charities with a range of digital fundraising tools and award-winning contactless technology. Its innovative tools help charity partners to reach new donors, raise more funds and tell their stories more vividly.

GoodBox Co-Founder & Managing Director Francesca Hodgson commented, “The Felix Project is such an important cause and a vital lifeline for so many especially at this time of the year and we are delighted to be able to support them with our devices across Mulberry stores. Offering a simple contactless donation point has been proven to raise more funds as so many potential donors don’t have cash available.”

The Felix Project, Aileen Thomson, Director of Fundraising added, “This year has highlighted more than ever the importance of supporting our local communities, and that is why our work at The Felix Project is so vital especially during the festive period. We would like to thank Mulberry for their continued support and GoodBox and Pello for facilitating the instore devices to help promote our cause and increase donations from Christmas shoppers.
