Holly Willoughby causes searches for “Emilia Wickstead” to explode 525% after Dancing On Ice live show
Analysis of Google search data reveals that online searches for the clothing brand ‘Emilia Wickstead’ exploded 525% in the UK on the 20th of February, after Holly Willoughby wore one of their dresses to present Musicals Week on Dancing on Ice.
A new finding by creative resource Design Bundles reveals that online interest for ‘Emilia Wickstead’ increased five times the average volume just hours after Holly Willoughby was seen wearing one of the designer’s dresses on Dancing on Ice.
The television presenter wowed viewers with a £995 off-the-shoulder white dress with a fitted silhouette to accentuate her stunning figure. She accessorized the look with some pearl earrings and rings from the jewellery brand Yoko London.
A spokesperson for Design Bundles commented on the findings:
“As always, Holly took to Instagram to give her followers a preview of her gorgeous gown for last week’s Dancing on Ice live show. Sunday’s dress, which was designed by one of Kate Middleton’s favourite designers Emilia Wickstead, proved to be yet another popular choice with fans complimenting Holly within minutes of her posting on Instagram.
These findings are a real testament to her stylish fashion sense and show just how influential she can be with searches for the clothes she wears increasing after just one television appearance and dresses often selling out as soon as she is seen wearing them on screen.”
