London, December 6, 2022
Leading blockchain tech developer FEAR has just launched a brand-new arm of their entertainment offering through a film streaming platform called FEAR FILMS, with one of its primary aims being to help support and develop the next generation of UK indie horror filmmaking talent.

As part of this new initiative, FEAR, in collaboration with long-term supporters of grassroots indie horror The London Horror Society, are looking to invest $50,000 (£41,000) in a slate of UK-produced short horror film projects, with one additionally being granted the opportunity to turn the original short concept into a full feature film, by raising funds via the sale of NFTs.

The full details on how filmmakers can apply for investment in their projects is now available on the London Horror Society website.
London Horror Society founder Chris Nials stated:
“We know that one of the biggest challenges for indie horror filmmakers today is getting hold of the capital needed to turn their short film ideas into reality. And that is exactly where the FEAR Horror Incubator will help.
I am so proud to be partnering with Jonathan, Pat and the FEAR team on this incredible new initiative. They truly share our vision in trying to find and support the next generation of gifted UK genre filmmakers, helping to ensure that no promising talent gets left behind just because they couldn’t find the financing to get their initial ideas off the ground!
Jonathan Carey, CEO and Co-Founder of FEAR added:
I’m incredibly excited to be incubating films on the FEAR platform and providing horror film makers and fans the opportunity to make, watch and own the films they want with the power of blockchain technology and NFTs.

Chris Nials and Jonathan Carey are both available for additional interviews and comments if required.
