Fearless Business Wins the IPSE Self-Employed Supplier Award 2022
Fearless Business, a coaching programme that helps freelancers grow their business, has been named the Self-Employed Supplier of 2022 by IPSE – the Association of Independent Professionals and the Self-Employed.
Fearless Business fought off tough competition to take home the Self-Employed Supplier of the year title, with more than 100 nominees battling it out in the annual IPSE awards. The winners were revealed at a glamorous awards ceremony in London, hosted by broadcaster Paul Sinha. Fearless Business beat five other finalists to its title. The business was commended by IPSE judges who described it as “A deserved winner who demonstrated total commitment to clients, truly personalised customer service, and an infectious enthusiasm for the work, businesses and individuals supported.”
Robin Waite, Founder of Fearless Business, said: “One of the major reasons I put myself forward for the award was to recognise my team of associate coaches, who work incredibly hard in the group and have supported Fearless Business throughout the pandemic – and either side of it. They’ve all given up so much time to ensure our clients are happy and making progress throughout.”
One of Fearless Businesses’ major focuses is on giving back to the grassroots small business community by holding 50 or more free workshops a year. Robin also gives away over a thousand copies of his book, Take Your Shot, every year, with the aim of helping people on their business journey.
Robin added: “I’m an advocate for small business owners and freelancers earning more money. Many are introverted in nature and work tirelessly helping other people but may not charge a fair amount for their labour; a lack of confidence keeps them from seeing the true worth of what they’re bringing to the table. At Fearless Business we are all about helping our clients to confidently charge more for the amazing work that they do.
“We’ve built a thriving community of 120+ business owners within the group that we directly support,” Robin said. “We have also given 700+ free, one-to-one coaching sessions during the past six years. I felt it was time my clients, my coaching team and Fearless Business as a whole was given some recognition collectively for the thousands of hours we’ve all put into improving businesses during that time.”
As Robin was recovering from surgery, he was unable to take part in the awards ceremony. News of the win was particularly uplifting as he looked forward to returning to work, helping small businesses and freelancers thrive in an increasingly difficult economic landscape.
