Trattoria Residence: Roma Edition at Eataly
Awarded a prestigious Michelin Bib Gourmand, this will be the first time the prestigious L’Oste Della Bon’Ora restaurant will be coming to London, as the team is flown over to Eataly for one weekend only. The team is comprised of host Massimo Pulicati and his wife Maria Luisa Pulicati. Massimo will share his philosophy of repurposing his established home recipes from his family traditions in Rome. Guests will also be able to experience Massimo’s much-loved character and charm first-hand, as he will guide diners through the menu with his unmatched expertise.
Developing a special, limited-run menu specifically for Terra on 25th and 26th May, to start, guests can tuck into Crema di zucchine romanesche con pancetta e pecorino, Romanesque zucchini cream with crispy pancetta and pecorino cheese. For mains, the chef will serve a traditional Tonnarello cacio e pepe, fresh long pasta with cacio cheese and black cracked pepper, while meat eaters can feast on Saltimbocca di vitello alla romana con salvia, Roman-style veal cutlets wrapped in crispy, salty prosciutto and fragrant sage leaves. To top off the meal, indulge in a Crema Maria Luisa, composed of creamy ricotta, visciole cherries and marmalade tart.
The team will be moving over to Pizza e Pasta restaurant on 27th and 28th May, with an alternative, limited-edition menu. The offering begins with Maritozzo salato con stracciatella e alici, a warm sourdough bun with indulgent stracciatella cheese and anchovies. For mains, diners will be able to choose Tonnarelli alla Gricia con guanciale stagionato, pecorino romano e pepe nero, fresh long pasta with succulent pork cheek guanciale, pecorino romano cheese and cracked black pepper. For the pizza lovers, opt for Pizza bianca farcita con la mortadella, a classic white based pizza originating from Rome, topped with the finest mortadella ham. Finish the meal with a delicious Crema Maria Luisa sfoglia sbriciolata immersa in una crema aromatizzata con vaniglia e cannella, freshly made crumbled puff pastry cream dipped in an aromatic vanilla cream.
