GB News presenter raises over £82,000 for charity with Dreamboys strip
GB News presenter Patrick Christys raised over £82,000 for the mental health charity Mind thanks to a special performance with the Dreamboys.
Patrick has been practicing with the group for months and had lost over four stone in weight for the performance.
He tweeted a clip today of his performance and said: “Well, last night I made good on my promise to strip on stage with @TheDreamboys to raise as much as possible for mental health charity Mind. Here’s a little snippet of how it went. Thank you to everyone who has donated”.
Patrick undertook the task to complement GB News’ friend Nathan Dunne, who is attempting to set a world record by walking from John O’Groats to Land’s End barefoot.
The Dreamboys are seen by over 350,000 people each year, and according to their website, are “perfectly designed for a girl’s night out, hen party, birthday, date night or just because”.
Patrick is undertaking the cause for Mind, a mental health charity who “won’t give up until everyone experiencing a mental health problem gets support and respect”.
