The new Plas Isaf Lodge Retreat will welcome guests for an all-access look at its stunning lodges and holiday homes on a summer open day on Saturday, July 29.

Guests at the free-to-attend event will get the chance to explore the resort’s holiday homes, with 13 lodges currently available to purchase in one of the county’s most picturesque spots.

Tucked away in the northern Welsh countryside, yet just minutes away from the A55, Plas Isaf will feature more than 50 of Darwin Escapes’ trademark lodges when complete, offering both holiday home ownership and holidays.

The retreat is an ideal base from which to explore the charming village of Caerwys and surrounding area. Landmarks and attractions within 40 minutes of your lodge include Chester Zoo, the UK’s most visited zoo and home to over 27,000 animals; the first 20 attendees at Saturday’s open day will earn a complimentary ticket to the zoo.

Waiting just a short drive away is Talacre Beach, a ready-made day out with everything guests need for a perfect beach trip – or they can make the quick journey to Loggerheads Country Park or Greenfield Valley Heritage Park to connect with nature and history.

The development of Plas Isaf Lodge Retreat by Darwin Escapes has also seen a fresh influx of jobs created for local people, from construction to the team that will manage the site going forward.

Prices for holiday homes start at £134,995 for a single unit or £229,995 for a wider twin lodge. Site fees start at £4,995 and cover both plot rental and maintenance.
