Magical Christmas show for families – Miki – brought to Maidenhead, Berkshire by Norden Farm this season.
Based on the highly acclaimed book by children’s author Stephen Mackey, Miki is an inspiring story about friendship, courage, and adventure. It will hit Norden Farm’s stage in Maidenhead in November and December and was created by Slot Machine and co-produced by Norden Farm. Slot Machine have previously brought the hit shows One Snowy Night and Kipper’s Snowy Day to Norden Farm, so Miki is the third in a trilogy of work co-produced by Norden Farm and Slot Machine. The family show features amazing underwater creatures, enchanting music, and extraordinary puppetry and is suitable for children aged from 3 years.
Miki, Polar Bear and Penguin live in a very faraway place. It’s an icy world where nothing ever grows. One midwinter eve, they make a wish and Miki embarks on a magical adventure in search of a star…
The show is on stage from 28 November to 30 December on selected dates, with morning and afternoon shows. There will be Relaxed Performances on 2 December at 11am and 27 December at 11am – ideal for families with children with special educational needs and disabilities. There will also be a Signed Performance on 20 December at 2pm. All shows last 50 minutes and tickets are between £13.50 and £15.50 (Family and Friends, 4 people £54). Children under 18 months do not need tickets or seats. Tickets can be booked online at nordenfarm.org or by calling the Box Office on 01628 788997.
