Fix Radio’s audience figures continue rapid growth trajectory
Audience size and listening hours have continued to grow for the ARIA-nominated Fix Radio. The latest listening figures, compiled by Nielsen, a global leader in audience measurement, data and analysis, confirm that the Builders Station’s blend of upbeat music, banter and authentic trade voices is proving popular with UK tradespeople.
The report confirmed an impressive 425,627 tradespeople tune-in every week to listen to the Builders Station.
The station’s potential weekly reach – a figure that takes into account that several tradespeople are within earshot of the radio – was also compelling, having crossed half a million listeners for the first time.
Not only are more people listening to Fix Radio, but they are also staying tuned-in for longer. According to figures from Nielsen, the Builders Station has 26.4 average weekly listening hours, and 3.8 hours average daily listening.
“Since going national in May 2022, the growth in reach and listening hours has been phenomenal,” said Louis Timpany, CEO and founder of Fix Radio.
“But for us, this is just the beginning of the journey. We believe there are over 3 million people working in the trades in the UK and we want to provide the soundtrack to their working day. We are the home of entertainment, music and information for UK tradespeople,” he added.
Fix Radio has been working with Nielsen, since it went national to generate an in-depth audit of its audience, and listening habits
