GUINNESS 0.0 ON DRAUGHT AVAILABLE IN A PUB FOR THE FIRST TIME THIS ST. PATRICK’S DAY
This St Patrick’s Day weekend, Guinness fans across London will be able to experience the great taste of Guinness 0.0 on draught for the first time at a pub, for one weekend only.
Launching exclusively at The George Pub between 15th – 17th March, in celebration of St Patrick’s Day. The activation is the first time a pub in Great Britain will serve Guinness 0.0 on draught, giving visitors celebrating the opportunity to experience the same smooth taste and two part pour they have come to expect of Guinness, but alcohol free!
With 47% of adults switching between alcohol, low-alcohol and alcohol-free drinks on the same occasion*, more pubs are embracing the growing trend towards moderation. Having the option of quality alcohol-free drinks available at their favourite pubs is giving modern drinkers more choice for celebratory occasions such as St Patrick’s Day, and thanks to Guinness 0.0, they don’t have to compromise on taste.
The key to a delicious pint of Guinness is using the right glass held at a 45-degree angle and the iconic two part pour. Thanks to this takeover, Guinness fans will be proudly presented with a perfectly poured pint of the black stuff, original or 0.0 at the bar.
Anna MacDonald, Guinness Marketing Director at Diageo GB says: “We know that modern drinkers want more choice, and as leaders in innovation, we’re proud to be offering an alcohol-free option that achieves the same smooth taste of a draught Guinness. We couldn’t think of a better occasion to trial Guinness 0.0 on draught and celebrate drinking in moderation than over St Patrick’s Day weekend.”
The Guinness 0.0 takeover at The George will run this St Patrick’s Day weekend (15th – 17th March) and will mark the first time Guinness 0.0 draught will be served at a pub in Great Britain, while stocks last, for one weekend only.
The George can be found at 55 Great Portland Street, Fitzrovia, W1W 7LQ. Opening Times are 12am-12am.
