BEARFACE Launches Canadian Triple Oak Whisky in the UK

Making its debut in the UK market, BEARFACE ® Whisky has released its award-winning Triple Oak blend to bring customers an authentic taste of the untamed Canadian wilderness.

In the wilderness boundaries don’t apply, character is built from time in nature and exposure to the elements. Whether it is served smooth and straight up, on the rocks, or blended into a spirited cocktail, BEARFACE ® Triple Oak Whisky lets consumers blaze their own trail and explore the flavours of the Canadian wilderness.

With temperatures swinging dramatically, seasonally, and sometimes daily, BEARFACE ® Whisky harnesses the extreme northern climate of Canada to amplify the smooth flavour of its product, working with the wilderness and its powerful natural elements to transform the unique Triple Oak whisky into something truly wild and adventurous.

The whisky finds its wild flavour in the untamed Canadian wilderness, maximising the fierce flavours of Bear Country. The single-grain Canadian whisky is matured in ex-bourbon American oak barrels, then Elementally Aged™ in French oak red wine casks and air-dried virgin Hungarian oak.

Elemental Ageing is a unique process where hand-selected oak casks are matured in repurposed shipping containers and exposed to the elements in the Canadian wilderness. The extreme northern climate amplifies how the whisky and wood interact, transforming the liquid inside for a bolder, smoother flavour.

When ready, the hand-selected casks are blended to create a bold and balanced whisky with long complex flavours and a distinctive spice finish unlike any other brand on the market.

Since its launch in 2019, BEARFACE has received over 20 national and international awards, including Double Gold at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition three years running (2021,2022 & 2023), Gold and Silver at the Canadian Whisky Awards 2021 and a Gold medal at the IWSC 2019, with 95 points.
