PURE EXPRESSION’S 1984 AT HACKNEY TOWN HALL WITH GAME OF THRONES AND TWILIGHT STARS OPENS THIS THURSDAY
Pure Expression’s 1984 at Hackney Town Hall opens on the 17th October with performances at 7:00pm and 9:00pm for press night. Selling out last year, the show has changed and features live video integrated into the show and mapped onto the side of the venue, bringing audiences closer to the action.
Directed by Jack Reardon and with performances from Dominic Carter as O’Brien [Game of Thrones, Boys from the Black Stuff and Netflix’s The Irregulars], Joe Anderson as Winston [The Grey, The Crazies, Twilight: Breaking Dawn] and Neetika Knight as Julia.
The creative team is completed by Ben Jacobs, Offie Winner for best lighting 2022, video design from Dan Light, sound design by Munotida Chinyanga and set and costume design by Ruth Badila.
