Organisational changes at Sirius to accommodate growth

Sirius Buying Group, major buying group of electrical appliances and kitchen retail solutions implement a series of organisational changes at its Head Office in Bristol, to streamline operations and accommodate growth.

Sirius Buying Group has made the following organisational changes:

Mark Veysey – Operations Director: Formerly Head of Operations at Sirius, Mark says “We are always looking to push the boundaries and deliver the best levels of support and service to our Members. In my new position as Operations Director, I will continue to focus my attention on our Group services and our annual events including our international conference, UK trade shows and industry awards, which all shine a light on the best brands and businesses that make up our buying group. We have the best, market leading service providers at hand, along with cost saving benefits that add value to our members, and complement the exclusive trading terms we have with our Approved Suppliers. By staying at the forefront of technological advancements, we’re able to maximise opportunities that mutually benefit group members and suppliers, and I look forward to maintaining our collective group efficiency.”

Marion Morton – Commercial Director: Formerly Head of Commercial, Marion says “In my new role, I will continue working closely with our approved suppliers to ensure our members have the right product range and promotional support to drive maximum sales. It is essential that our members receive full support so their customers always have choice and can shop with confidence from a truly independent retailer. We are continually enhancing the product offering and promotional strategies, enabling our members to strengthen their relationships and improve profit margins. As UK shoppers embrace the in-store experience again, we remain committed to supporting the kitchen retail and electrical appliance sectors in maximising these opportunities.

Darren Scott – Head of Membership Development: Formerly National Business Development Manager, Darren says, “I am extremely proud to expand my role within the group, as I continue to lead initiatives that build our community, strengthen existing relationships, and expand our network of members, which will further assist current members as well as Approved Suppliers. As Head of Membership Development, I will be responsible for making and implementing strategies that drive membership growth, increase member acquisition, and enhance member engagement within the group.”

Joe Howes – Head of Data & Marketing: Formerly Data & Marketing Manager, Joe says, “Stepping into the role of Head of Data & Marketing is an exciting opportunity to deliver innovative solutions that support our Members and Approved Suppliers. By harnessing enhanced data reporting, we can provide our Suppliers with actionable insights that drive decision-making. Our boost in online activity looks to increase consumer engagement directly to our Members’ stores and websites, while refined brochure improvements will not only offer additional back-end benefits but also elevate Supplier promotional awareness amongst the membership.”

Natalie Morris – Administration & MDA Account Manager: Formerly Administrator at Sirius, Natalie says, “I’m proud to expand my role within the group to become a key point of contact, and fully assist our Members with the best level of support from Sirius as well as assisting in the development of our Approved Suppliers. To be able to use my previous experience as a Senior Buyer helps to give me with the right skills to drive growth, enhance collaboration, and ensure that every partnership we make within the group translates into measurable success.”
