XI Home Dumplings Bay to offer Dumpling Classes for Dads to Celebrate Father’s Day

To celebrate Father’s Day on Sunday 15th June, Spitalfields’ authentic Chinese dumpling hotspot Xi Home Dumplings Bay is offering the perfect gift – a dumpling masterclass for dads.

Whether Dad is already the chef of the house, or it’s time for him to learn, this unique culinary experience invites him to roll up his sleeves and learn the art of crafting authentic dumplings from the experts at XI Home Dumplings Bay.

Families can take Dad on Father’s Day itself (15th June), or book a dumpling class on any Sunday throughout the month.

And at each of the five masterclasses in June (1st / 8th / 15th / 22nd / 29th), dads can enjoy a free bottle of beer while they prepare the dumplings.

The classes, which take place every Sunday 3pm – 5pm, teaches guests how to make dumplings from scratch, as well as the story behind the dish itself.

Led by XI Home’s Head Chef Minnie Wang and Owner Wenjun Xiang, participants explore the rich traditions of Northern Chinese dumpling-making, from crafting the perfect dough to creating delicious bespoke XI home fillings.

The class includes:

● An intro on Dumplings and where they originated
● Step-by-step guidance on making dough and fillings
● A chance to make your own dumplings – two different types which will be cooked and enjoyed at the end of the class
● Personalised tips for perfecting techniques at home
● A Xi Home Dumplings Bay apron to take home
● A certificate that you can take home, frame or show to your pals
