Andy King & Craig McBlain Celebrate Wedding Weekend in Scotland Surrounded by Music, Magic, and Love

This past weekend, celebrated event producer and pop culture favorite Andy King and his longtime partner Craig McBlain officially tied the knot in an unforgettable two-day celebration at Killochan Castle in Ayrshire, Scotland. The couple, who announced their engagement in December 2024 after six years together, were joined by close friends and family in an intimate, joy-filled weekend that honored their love story—and Craig’s Scottish roots.

Killochan Castle, is a privately owned 16th-century estate tucked away in the rolling hills of South Ayrshire. Known for its historic grandeur, meticulously restored interiors, and picturesque gardens, the castle offered a one-of-a-kind backdrop for the weekend’s events. Andy and Craig first visited the property earlier this year while scouting venues and fell in love instantly. For Craig, returning home to Scotland to marry in a place so steeped in history made the celebration especially meaningful.

“This weekend was everything we dreamed of and more,” said Andy King. “To be surrounded by so much love, joy, and beauty in a place that means so much to Craig and his family—it’s something we’ll carry in our hearts forever.” Craig McBain added, “From the moment we stepped foot on the castle grounds, it felt like we were stepping into a love story written just for us. We’re so grateful to everyone who helped make it real.”

The festivities began on Friday, June 13, with a lively welcome party featuring live music and Scottish hospitality. Guests enjoyed acoustic sets by Nick Morgan, pianist John Rankin, and performances by Mariana Bell (joined by an acoustic guitarist), along with a surprise pop-up song from Cydney Chase. Andy and Craig wore custom looks from Rowing Blazers as guests sipped cocktails and explored the castle’s manicured grounds.

On Saturday, June 14, the couple exchanged vows in a romantic late-afternoon ceremony accented by the sound of bagpipes from local piper Liam. The reception followed with dinner under a beautifully appointed tent by Finesse Marquees, catered by chefs Claire Caminada and Susie Cover. Guests were treated to a towering cake by Cakes & Bakes, desserts from local favorites Home Bakery and Girvan Gelateria, and dancing to a live set by The Trueloves. The entire celebration was captured by Timshel Pictures. The couple wore matching bands from Manly Bands (“The Senator” in size 9.5) and packed in style with LEVEL8 Luggage for their trip abroad.
