Blenheim Estate Homes Issues New Release of Shared Ownership Properties at Park View, Woodstock
Blenheim Estate Homes is giving buyers the chance to get that all-important first foot on the property ladder with a new release of four homes through its shared ownership scheme at Park View, Woodstock.
The new plots, which offer househunters the opportunity to own a 40% share of the property, range from a two-bedroom mid-terrace home to a three-bedroom detached property. All newly released homes are either the Jennings or Drake house style – named after the first Duke of Marlborough’s wife and mother respectively.
The properties for sale are:
Plot 234. Two-bedroom end terrace house. One allocated car parking space. Key feature – an additional study room upstairs

To qualify for the shared ownership scheme, prospective buyers need to meet the following criteria:
Have a household income of less than £80,000 per year
Prove that they cannot afford to buy a home on the open market
To have access to approximately £3000 to cover legal fees, plus savings towards mortgage and deposit. You will also need to be assessed as being able to afford and sustain shared ownership
If you’re an existing shared owner or homeowner your current property must be at the sale agreed stage before you can reserve. As a homeowner your application will also require approval from both West Oxford District Council and Blenheim Estate Homes before being able to proceed. Permission will be sought on your behalf
Prospective buyers also need to have a local connection to the area and meet at least one for the following criteria:
Currently live in the parishes of either Woodstock, Hanborough, Bladon, Blenheim, Combe, Freeland, Wootton or Tackley and have done so for 12 months or more
Have previously lived in one of these parishes for at least three years
You are currently employed in one of these parishes and have been for at least 12 months
You have a close family member resident in one of these parishes, who has been a resident for at least three years
You are a key worker currently living in or being moved into one of these parishes for the purpose of your work
