We Love Ibiza is a playful and psychedelic journey through the island’s colourful and storied history. From ancient civilizations and mythical beginnings to pirates, hippies, DJs, and the rise of LGBT club culture. It’s a 192-page comic book bursting full of nostalgia, chaos, and true stories up until 1979. It includes the birth of the infamous West End and the opening of the first four big clubs: Pacha, Es Paradis, Amnesia, and KU.

The book, the first of a forthcoming five-part series, is researched through in-person interviews with Ibiza’s most significant contemporary historical figures. From those vital people behind the scenes, including counterculture’s trailblazers, musicians, and entrepreneurs. All stories are based on people’s real-life memories, the very people who were there creating the history and setting the scene for us today. All drawings are based on original photos where available, with the objective to keep things as authentic as possible.
