HAWKSMOOR LAUNCHES £10 KENTUCKY RIVER OLD FASHIONED FOR FATHER’S DAY

Hawksmoor is celebrating Father’s Day with a limited-time Kentucky River Old Fashioned, available for £10 across its restaurants in London, Liverpool, Manchester and Edinburgh throughout June.

A summer-style twist on the classic Old Fashioned, the Kentucky River is made with Maker’s Mark Kentucky Straight Bourbon, white cacao and peach, finished with a lemon twist. The serve is designed for anyone looking to mark Father’s Day with a proper cocktail, whether as part of dinner, a celebratory drink or a post-work catch-up in the lead-up to Sunday 21st June.

The serve follows Hawksmoor St Pancras recently being used as the filming location for a new Maker’s Mark short film starring British actor Lucien Laviscount. The film, which premieres on Lucien’s Instagram @its_lucien, sees him reflect on the small everyday shortcuts people take before raising a Maker’s Mark Old Fashioned to the moments that deserve more intention.

“There’s something special about going to a great bar, being with good company and taking a moment to enjoy it properly,” Lucien Laviscount said. “We compromise on little things all day, so when you do get that moment to stop, you want it to feel like it’s all worth it.
