Located on Colston Gate, Hayes View is a thoughtfully designed new community bringing 45 three and four bedroom energy-efficient homes to the popular Nottinghamshire town.

To celebrate the opening of the four bedroom Eltham show home, Allison Homes East Midlands hosted a VIP launch evening, bringing together local councillors, community representatives and businesses to enjoy refreshments and hear more about the homes being delivered at Hayes View.

During the evening, Councillor Butler, Councillor Clarke and Councillor Healy met with the Allison Homes East Midlands team, learnt more about the development and cut the ribbon to officially open the new show home.

The development has been named in tribute to Ernest Hayes, a decorated First World War soldier from Cotgrave. Corporal Hayes served with the King’s Own Yorkshire Light Infantry and was awarded the Military Medal three times for his gallantry on the Western Front in 1918.

Councillor Richard Butler, Mayor of Rushcliffe, said: “It was very interesting to see the show home and the preparations for the rest of the new homes at Hayes View.

“It is quite a journey from seeing and discussing drawings and plans to seeing the finished buildings, and it is very thoughtful to name the development in memory of Ernest Hayes.

“I look forward to welcoming new residents to the Cotgrave and wider Rushcliffe communities.”

Karl Edwards, Managing Director at Allison Homes East Midlands, said: “It was a pleasure to welcome Councillor Butler, Councillor Clarke, Councillor Healy and our invited guests to Hayes View to celebrate the official opening of our new Eltham show home.

“Hayes View is an exciting development for Allison Homes East Midlands, bringing high-quality, energy-efficient homes to Cotgrave while also honouring an important part of the town’s history through its connection to Ernest Hayes. It was wonderful to showcase the quality of the homes being delivered here and introduce guests to this growing new community.

“With the show home now open, we look forward to welcoming prospective buyers and helping them find their perfect home at Hayes View.”

The Eltham is a spacious, four bedroom detached family home designed around modern lifestyles. Featuring an open-plan kitchen and dining area, generous living spaces and flexible bedrooms ideal for growing families or home working, the home showcases the quality and thoughtful design that buyers can expect across the Hayes View development.

Hayes View combines modern living with the character of an established community. The development has been designed to appeal to a range of buyers, from first-time purchasers and young professionals to growing families and those looking for more space.

Hayes View is also well placed for commuters, with easy access to the A52, A46 and A1. Nearby Radcliffe-on-Trent railway station provides services to Nottingham in around 10 minutes, with onward connections to major cities.
