GET BAKED AND FORTNUM & MASON LAUNCH THE ‘HUNNY CARAMEL BERTHA’ IN CELEBRATION OF DISNEY WINNIE THE POOH 100TH ANNIVERSARY

Viral dessert bakery, GET BAKED and Fortnum & Mason have collaborated with Disney to unveil a limited-edition Hunny Caramel Bertha Cake in celebration of Winnie the Pooh’s 100th anniversary.

Inspired by Pooh’s timeless, honey-loving world, this indulgent new creation reimagines GET BAKED’s iconic Bertha cake with a nostalgic twist. The brand new recipe combines layers of brown sugar sponge, Fortnum & Mason honey caramel and caramelized white chocolate ganache, and Fortnum’s own honey to create a symphony of flavours inspired by the Hundred Aker Wood.

Launching on 21st August, the Hunny Caramel Cake will be available to purchase by the slice or as a whole cake only at Fortnum & Mason’s Piccadilly store, with the whole cake also available to order online for in-store collection. Joining the Hunny Caramel Bertha will be a selection of GET BAKED’s favourite sweet treats including the legendary Bertha Cake, Cinnamon Cookies, and Double Chocolate Brownies. Speaking about the partnership, Get Baked Founder Rich Myers said “Our residency in Fortnums in 2023 was a real game-changer for us. It confirmed for me just how far we’d got with the brand, and it was an honour to be a part of it. Coming back again this year, with an additional offering inspired by Winnie the Pooh, as part of a collaboration with Disney, is a real privilege. Fortnum’s last partnership with GET BAKED generated extraordinary demand, with queues stretching around the block for the renowned Bertha cake, and this charming new Winnie the Pooh inspired creation is set to be just as sought-after. The collaboration brings together three iconic names to celebrate Winnie the Pooh’s milestone anniversary, combining craftsmanship,nostalgic storytelling, and indulgent flavours to offer customers a delicious way to experience the wonder inspired by Winnie the Pooh.
