A Brand-New ‘Easter Craft Market’ is Coming to Stonham Barns Park!
A brand-new event is planned for 2024 at Stonham Barns Park. It is the Easter Craft Market at Stonham Barns Park which will take place over the long weekend on Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 March.
It will give people the chance to visit the venue over the Easter period to see what unique gifts are for sale for themselves or friends and family!
There will be stalls with hand-made locally produced gifts that will not be available on the High Street and during the day Stonham Barns Park will be showcasing live music by way of entertainment. There is no entrance fee for buyers. Plenty of FREE parking.
In the Aspal Theatre – at the venue – there will be a ‘make-your-own-crafts’ area with pottery demonstrations, and a chance to ‘have-a-go’ on the potter’s wheel, also paint your own pottery, and various other crafts for visitors to try, along with many crafting stalls.
Essex-based YouTuber Corrine Bradd – from Crafts Beautiful Magazine – will be attending the show and doing LIVE demos for the visitors attending the show and social media followers.
The event has been organised by Stonham Barns Park and Laura Mackley of Eastern Pottery Supplies – a developing craft supply business at Stonham Barns Park – recently launched by Laura after she decided to turn a hobby into a business. She has used her newfound skills as a potter to bring together a range of pottery materials to fill a gap in the market. Says Laura, ‘The Easter Craft Market is for anyone who is captivated by creativity and so many people are now hooked on hobbies we are hoping to draw in the crowds.’
‘Whether your interest is in drawing, painting, knitting, crocheting, glass, metal or pottery, there really will be something here for everyone.’
‘Stonham Barns Park retail village is becoming a hub for crafters and hobbyists and that makes perfect sense as Suffolk is the ideal spot for inspiration and creativity. We look forward to a weekend of new discoveries and networking.’
The weekend also provides visitors with the opportunity to take a look around around 40 unique shops that are open in the retail village once those attending have looked around the Craft Market.
A range of food and drink outlets will be available on the showground with outdoor and indoor seating. There is also an onsite restaurant located in the shopping village and a tearoom located in The Teapot Pottery by the bouncy pillow.
Stonham Barns Park does not just offer great shows and events, it has many attractions for the whole family onsite including an owl and bird of prey centre, pirate adventure golf course, 9-hole golf course, vintage dodgem rides and funfair rides, indoor soft play centre, fishing lakes, water activities lake, teapot pottery, restaurant and tearoom and plenty of unique shops and much more.
Visitors can bring their own tents, caravans or motorhomes or stay on the Stonham Barns Park campsite. Bell tents are also available to hire or a Shepherd’s cabin for those who prefer something a little more unusual. Visit the following Pitchup link
