A TORY MP has urged Prince Harry not to give any interviews following his appearance at the Coronation next week.
Tim Loughton previously created a storm by tweeting Harry should “shut the f*** up”.
Mr Loughton, the MP for East Worthing and Shoreham in Sussex, also once said he was irritated by the fact Meghan and Harry were linked to the county he represents.
Speaking to GB News today, Mr Loughton said: “Look, of course, he should come to the coronation. He’s the King’s son. What’s the problem with that? But my constituents have been saying to me, “Why do I have to have somebody who keeps making these rather annoying comments, and flogging books while representing the ancient county of Sussex.” That was my frustration.
“He is the son of the King. He is still a Duke. He’s entitled to come to the Coronation. His father would want him to be at the Coronation, but I hope he doesn’t give any more interviews about it to some of the people for his books. That way we can concentrate on what’s going to be a fantastic, important and historic occasion next weekend.”
His comments come amid reports Harry plans a whistle stop visit to the UK on Saturday.
According to claims today he will see Charles crowned at Westminster Abbey then aims to be back in the US for son Archie’s fourth birthday.
One insider said last night: “He’ll be in and out of the UK in 24 hours.”
Speculation has been rife over how long he intends to stay in London. The 11am ceremony ends at 1pm so Harry could be in the air by 2-3pm. He would spend ten hours travelling 5,000 miles and land by early evening local time.
