ALDERSHOT SCHOOL CREDITS HOMEBUILDER FOR OUTDOOR CINEMA SUPPORT

The Cambridge School in Aldershot hosted a showing of Disney’s Encanto as an end-of-term treat for its pupils and parents, and a donation of 30 hi-vis vests were made by the leading housebuilder for the volunteers helping out on the night.

The big screen was in town for the school, close to David Wilson Homes’ Bruneval Gardens development, and those in attendance were able to enjoy one final get-together in the week prior to the end of term.

Rachelle Bailey, Vice Chair at The Friends of the Cambridge School, said: “It was amazing how many people from the community came down and supported our event. All the children enjoyed singing along to Encanto. We would like to say a huge thank you for supporting and sponsoring Friends of the Cambridge!”

David Wilson Homes’ relationship with the school on Queen’s Avenue has blossomed since it began building properties in Aldershot. Past support has included hi-vis vests for its pupils during Walk to School Month, Christmas tree saplings during the last festive period and the more recent donation of 1,000 lollipops as prizes for the school’s summer fete.

Campbell Gregg, Managing Director at David Wilson Homes Southern, said: “Our relationship with The Cambridge School has been fantastic since we started building at Bruneval Gardens and it was our pleasure to support its recent outdoor cinema.

“We’re sure the hi-vis vests will come in handy for many more exciting events held at the school, and it’s fantastic to hear how well-received the events are in the local community.”
Bruneval Gardens is now over 90% sold and close to completion, and the remaining homes are a selection of one and two bedroom apartments.

Anyone interested in one of the final properties available is advised to call the David Wilson Homes sales team on 033 3355 8487 or visit the website at Bruneval Gardens for more information.
