Allergy Awareness Week: Blueair’s top tips to alleviate allergy symptoms

Today marks the start of Allergy UK’s  Allergy Awareness Week. With current high pollen counts and increasing pollution, people are becoming more concerned about air quality and are looking for ways to relieve their allergies and improve the air in their homes.

Blueair’s top tips to alleviate allergy symptoms:

  • Check pollen counts and pollen maps and adapt your daily routines accordingly
  • Consider an in-car air purifier that filters pollen allergens
  • Improve indoor ventilation
  • Put an air purifier in your bedroom to ensure a good night’s sleep
  • When you come in from outdoors, take off your shoes by the door and change your clothing
  • Shower and wash your hair each day
  • Use a wet cloth/mop to clean surfaces and floors often
  • Vacuum frequently

The Classic Range is among Blueair’s most high performing ranges and is sold in 60 countries around the world. The Blueair Classic 405 has been recognised as “Best-in-Test” in an independent laboratory testing of 10 different air purifier brands conducted by accredited Intertek Testing & Certification and IBR Laboratories in 2019.

“The good news is that indoor pollutants can easily be removed. In addition to the most common pollutants such as dust, chemicals and germs, Blueair air purifiers remove smoke, PM2.5, pet dander, microplastics, formaldehyde and pollen,” says Alexander Provins, Director Europe. “Our highly awarded Classic air purifiers are amongst the best in the world, and independent tests confirm that they significantly improve indoor air quality, removing allergy and asthma triggers and other airborne irritants and pollutants so ensuring the air in your home is as healthy and clean as possible”.
