ALTON TOWERS RESORT RE-OPENS FOR A SEASON TO REMEMBER NEMESIS REBORN

Thrillseekers are set for a season to remember at Alton Towers Resort as the eagerly awaited opening of Nemesis Reborn is now complete. Today (Saturday 16th March), the Theme Park officially opened Nemesis Reborn, following a complete overhaul of the original ride that came to be revered by millions of thrillseekers since its launch three decades ago.
Nemesis Reborn has seen the entire 250-tonne, 716-metre-long track replaced. The two ride trains have also been replaced – transforming the breathtaking experience for thrill-seekers.
In addition, extensive, new, immersive story-telling elements will propel visitors into a compelling new narrative from the moment guests set foot in the Resort’s Forbidden Valley.
The Resort will be marking 30 years of the ride, which originally opened on March 19th 1994, and to celebrate, the UK’s biggest theme park will launch a brand-new exclusive VIP package where rollercoaster fans will get the opportunity to meet the creator of the original Nemesis, John Wardley, and the senior creative of Nemesis Reborn, John Burton. More details will be revealed on the Resort’s social media channels and tickets will be available to book from March 19th . Alton Towers Resort is also promising exciting adventures for thrillseekers and families alike.
From extended opening hours so guests can enjoy head-spinning, hair-raising rides and attractions in darkness, to brand-new VIP packages for the ultimate, exclusive days out, and the unique opportunity to walk to the top of the UK’s most iconic rollercoasters, taking in stunning 360-degree views of the Resort.
