An £80,000 taxi? WATCH the moment an Uber driver scoops top cash-and-car prize

An Uber driver from East London is upgrading his wheels after his £3 competition ticket scooped him a £113,000 prize including a brand new BMW M3 Touring thanks to leading online competitions company BOTB.

Joseph Igwubor was at home with his family when BOTB’s Christian Williams turned up to tell him he was this week’s Dream Car Competition winner and the owner of the top-of-the-range set of wheels – plus it had £30,000 cash in the back.

“I don’t know what to say,” he said. “Thank you so much – I am very, very excited!”

Joseph said he can’t wait to get behind the wheel but this will be a ‘family car’ rather than his work wheels.

The BMW M3 Touring that Joseph won boasts an i6 Turbo engine with more than 500 bhp and 650 Torque.

“I don’t even know what to say,” he said. “I’m in shock!”

But the surprises were not finished there as Christian revealed £30,000 waiting for Joseph in the boot.

“There are so many things we’d love to have done but can’t because of money,” he explained. “That will all change now!”

BOTB hands over the keys to a stunning dream car each week as well as a Midweek Lifestyle prize, where winners have bagged a quad bike, holidays to the Caribbean and £25,000 in cash.

The company, listed on the stock market, was founded by William Hindmarch in 1999 and has given away more than £48m worth of cars so far.
