Anthropy, the UK’s largest leadership gathering and movement for change launches a new national campaign titled ‘Let’s reboot Britain’.

The campaign was revealed to over 200 business leaders at Anthropy’s Autumn Review on Wednesday, with responsible, forward-thinking brands, businesses, and entrepreneurs invited to share their ideas for how UK industries can address the nation’s economic and social challenges.

Let’s reboot Britain will set the stage for the next chapter in the UK’s leadership journey, encouraging organisations to:
Review and Reassess Practices: Leaders are asked to critically examine their own structures, processes, and strategies, to see where they can improve, innovate, and better serve their employees, customers, and communities.
Foster Collaborative Partnerships: Anthropy is inviting leaders to break down silos and work together, partnering across industries, sectors, and communities to address challenges that cannot be solved in isolation.
Drive Innovation with Policymakers: Recognising the importance of public-private partnerships, ‘Let’s reboot Britain’ will push for closer collaboration across the new political environment, to create an environment that fosters innovation and supports initiatives aimed at improving the quality of life for all citizens.

At the event, Anthropy Founder John O’Brien MBE, formerly EMEA managing partner of Omnicom’s ONE HUNDRED consortium explained, “This campaign isn’t saying everything is broken in Britain, or about starting from scratch, it is about recognising that we are at a key moment in time, where we need to reset, re-emerge and by bringing leaders together, sharing ideas, and fostering innovative collaborations, can ensure a higher quality of life for everyone in the UK. ‘reboot Britain’ is a call to action for leaders from all sectors who believe in the potential of this nation and are ready to be part of the solution.”

Words echoed by leading Anthropist Chair of Great British Energy, Jürgen Maier CBE. “We have a responsibility and opportunity to decarbonise Britain at an accelerated pace. This will create significant jobs and opportunity up and down the country and can only be achieved through optimism, innovation, and collaboration, exactly as laid out by Anthropy’s call for leadership and action,” said Maier.

Rain Newton-Smith, Chief Executive of Anthropy member CBI (Confederation of British Industry), believes the country faces complex challenges that neither business nor government can solve alone. She says: “It’s time for a new partnership for prosperity – government and business working together to build a stronger economy that lifts communities, improves living standards and realises the potential for everyone to succeed.”

The campaign also launches a five-month lead-up to Anthropy25, the national gathering of Britain’s responsible leaders, taking place at the Eden Project from 26-28 March 2025. This three-day event will host 2000+ cross-sector representatives from business, non-profit organisations, public-sector and academia’, joining 200+ sessions and hearing from 600+ speakers, each of whom has committed to using their voices to spark innovation, foster fresh thinking, and transform a future Britain.
