Azets celebrates success of Bournemouth office on first anniversary
Azets, the UK’s largest regional accountancy and business advisor to SMEs, with offices throughout London and the South East, celebrated the one-year anniversary and success of its Bournemouth office on 10th November with a glittering event for 70 guests, including Azets staff, clients and contacts and a donation to a local children’s charity.
Established to cater for local demand, the Bournemouth office is one of several Azets offices in the Solent and across the South East, including in Southampton and Romsey.
Azets Bournemouth has signed up over 25 clients since opening at the end of 2020, and handles all their accounting requirements including business tax, audit and assurance, stamp duty land tax (SDLT) and Research and Development tax relief claims.
A raffle was held at the event to win an afternoon tea for two at Compton Acres, a picturesque village of small villas backing onto 12 acres of gardened land, and who donated the prize, to raise funds for local charity Julia’s House, which has hospices in Dorset and Wiltshire. The charity focuses on supporting children with life-threatening illnesses and their parents. Caroline Attreed, Corporate Fundraiser, and Laura Maidment, Public Fundraising Manager, Julia’s House attended, and over £275.00 was raised on the night.
Heather Williams, Tax Partner in the Bournemouth office, said, “Our decision to open premises here in Bournemouth – our first and surely not our last in Dorset – has been more than justified. Our customer base is growing fast, and it was wonderful to be able to hold a face-to-face event again for Azets’ clients and contacts, the first for more than two years, to celebrate our achievement and re-acquaint ourselves with and thank our clients and colleagues in person.”
