Big Jet TV Pale Ale sells out in under 30 minutes
Beartown Brewery, the independent brewer based in Congleton, has unveiled a limited-edition ‘stormy’ pale ale dedicated to the absolute phenomenon that was Big Jet TV, with the first run already sold out.
As Storm Eunice hit UK shores, nothing gripped the nation and united us more than Big Jet TV and Jerry Dyer, who was broadcasting live as planes attempted a stormy landing at Heathrow Airport.
Totally taken in by the powerhouse of Jerry and the Big Jet TV hype, Beartown Brewery quickly developed the perfect pale ale flavour to capture the sheer chaos of Storm Eunice, a special cold one brewed in homage to the unexpected YouTube phenomenon.
News of the limited-edition pale ale quickly reached Jerry and Big Jet TV who very quickly gave it a big seal of approval. So much so that Beartown Brewery was inundated with pre-orders and demand, with the first batch of Big Jet TV pale ale selling out in under 30 minutes.
The second batch of Big Jet TV pale ale is now on sale, a super pale ale, with chocolate, roast barley, crystal 30, crystal 150, wheat, honey malt and oats. Available in packs of 12 for £36, via the Beartown Brewery website.
With only 50 packs for sale of this extremely limited-edition batch, once they are gone, they are gone. So Big Jet TV lovers, get yours now: https://www.beartownbrewery.co.uk/product/jet-tv-stormy-pale/
Joseph Manning, managing director of Beartown Brewery said: “Who’d have thought that Storm Eunice and Big Jet TV could have provided us with such an epic live broadcast. It’s safe to say that we’ve not seen the nation united like this for a while.”
“We absolutely had to create a limited-edition pale ale for Big Jet TV, I can’t tell you how happy it makes us to know we have their seal of approval and have sent them some in the post, so the nations hero, Jerry, can enjoy a nice cold one post-plane broadcast – cheers to you Big Jet TV.”
The Beartown Brewery story began in 1632, when Congleton, a town in Cheshire, sold its bible to buy a Bear. From that day forward Congleton was given a new name, Beartown.
Beartown Brewery was officially born in 1994, and blossomed in a world of cask beer – the pinnacle of craft brewing and has over the decades added bottles, cans and kegs to the range. Regardless of beer style or vessel, the one thing that runs through the core of all Beartown Brewery beers, is quality craftsmanship and flavours.
Available to order online, the beers are available in bottles, cans, fridge packs or kegs. Bursting with flavour, the smooth tasting beer hits all of the right spots of the taste buds.
