Some Brit ideas to help with transforming winter laundry days
As the weather turns cold and damp, it is the perfect time to think about how to dry laundry efficiently.
High street retailer, Robert Dyas has a range of practical solutions and innovative ideas aimed at transforming winter laundry days.
Rachel Brain, the company’s COO, said, “Drying laundry during the winter months can be a real headache, so we try to make life easy by offering solutions aimed at saving people space and cash.
“A simple heated airer will dry your clothes quickly at a fraction of the cost of a tumble dryer. Running a small heated airer costs only 7% of what it takes to run a tumble dryer, just two pence per hour compared to an average of thirty pence per hour.”
In addition, a compact expanding airer takes up very little space in cramped accommodation. Catherine Rose, a first-year student from Nottingham University said, “Student rooms are pretty small so a tiered extendable airer is ideal and saves you draping clothes over the radiator and doors.
