Brits paying more for sustainable products
Did you know that over half of British consumers are willing to pay more for sustainable products amid the cost-of-living crisis?
With poverty, climate change and the cost of living all being huge issues that consumers are looking to target in the UK right now, One Water, the leading planet conscious bottled water brand, is urging retail businesses to invest in eco-friendly brands now more than ever.
With the ethical brands category growing at the exceptional rate of 4.2% vs a target of 2.9%3, more and more retailers are looking to environmentally friendly brands to keep up with consumer demand.
Despite the cost-of-living crisis, 56% of shoppers are now looking to stock their baskets with planet conscious brands and are happy to pay more1.
The percentage of shoppers taking action about their environmental concerns has risen by 6% in the last year, one of the biggest hikes ever2.
One Water uses 100% recycled plastic and 100% recycled aluminium in its products and packaging.
Produced with green energy from 100% recycled plastic and aluminum, One Water works hard to meet consumer needs whilst also raising awareness for those most in need around the World. 771 million people Worldwide don’t currently have access to clean water, and donations from One Water fundraising has helped build large scale water systems, pump repairs and emergency relief in developing countries.
Duncan Goose, Founder of One Water, comments: “Listening to consumer trends has always been a key part of building One Water’s brand and products. With shoppers now looking more and more to brands and retailers to take responsibility against the increasing climate and poverty issues around the World, there has never been a better time for businesses to invest in planet conscious brands.”
“Looking for brands that are experimenting with different materials, outside of plastic, for on-the-go drinks such as bottled water is another avenue businesses can go down to satisfy consumer’s changing buying habits. Paperboard and tetra cardboard cartons, glass and aluminium are less durable than plastic, making them less harmful to the environment, and lead to less waste making its way to landfill sites.”
