Butternut Box Celebrates Loving Our Pets with Launch of Doggy Video Game

LEADING UK fresh dog food brand, Butternut Box, has celebrated all things pawsome for our four-legged friends with the incarnation of their beloved office dog Pip into an online gaming hero.

Pip Quest, a fun online game, launched just in time for Love Your Pet Day on Sunday 20th February, which saw Butternut Box lead the celebration for pets across the nation.

This follows a series of pet-appreciation activity from the beloved dog food brand whose mission is to deliver health and happiness to dogs all over the world.

As part of Butternut Box’s #DogsDeserveBillboards social competition in late 2021, 101 every day dogs were picked to head up their first out of home campaign in 2022.

The model winners were selected to attend a luxury photoshoot which resulted in their dogs’ faces being displayed on eye-catching billboards across the country.

Harriet Treadwell, Head of Customer Love at Butternut Box says; “Butternut Box exists to deliver health and happiness to dogs and their humans across the world. We want to make sure our furry friends feel celebrated, loved and cherished not just on Love Your Pet Day but everyday of the year.

“We also want to connect to our customers on a level that is more than a transaction. From our perspective, we’re here to make feeding your dog fun. Our Surprise and Delight ethos is all about engaging our customers and increasing the value of their Butternut deliveries.”

The puppy love didn’t stop there though as the dog food brand also celebrated their hardworking charity efforts from 2021, as it confirmed they’d donated over 25,000 meals to rescue dogs in need.

The charity initiative came as Butternut Box continues to work with their charity partners; The Mayflower Sanctuary, an animal sanctuary in West Yorkshire, Dogs 4 Rescue, a rehoming centre in Manchester, and Foal Farm, an animal rescue centre in Kent.

David Nolan, Butternut Box co-founder said; “It’s been so inspiring to see all the great work our charity partners do. I feel so lucky that with the help of our customers and the help of our team that we’re able to give back to dogs less fortunate than the ones we’re lucky enough to feed. We’re keen for our charity support to continue in 2022, and to make sure all dogs are happy and healthy and enjoying a well-balanced varied diet.”
