CAMBRIDGESHIRE PRE-SCHOOL RECEIVES BOOK GRANT FROM LOCAL DEVELOPER
Cambridgeshire housebuilder, David Wilson Homes, recently donated £250 to a local pre-school to help provide a range of new books for the children to enjoy.
Needingworth Community Pre-school, located near David Wilson Homes’ Needingworth Park development on Bluntisham Road, used the donation to purchase a wide range of books for its pupils aged between two and four.
Some of the books purchased by the pre-school included ‘Nothing Can Frighten a Bear’ by Elizabeth Dale, ‘The Gingerbread Man’ by Mara Alperin, and ‘What is in the Box’ by Eom Mi-rang.
Rachael Beeton, Chair at Needingworth Community Pre-school, said: “We would like to say thank you so much to David Wilson Homes for the kind donation, the children have loved looking through all the new books together.”
This donation is an example David Wilson Homes’ commitment to supporting the local communities in which it builds.

“Books are so important even in our earliest years as they not only help develop reading and writing skills, but encourage children’s creativity and imaginations to run wild.
“We wanted to support Needingworth Community Pre-school’s project of encouraging reading for their pupils, and we hope the children enjoy the books.”
