CARE HOME GENERAL MANAGER IS IN THE FINALIS IN WOMEN ACHIEVING GREATNESS IN SOCIAL AWARNESS AWARDS

Staff and residents at Barchester’s Hugh Myddelton Care Home in Southgate are congratulating their wonderful General manager Jade Shea, to be finalist in the women Achieving Greatness in Social Awareness Awards. We’re thrilled at our care home; we couldn’t be any prouder of Jade and her dedication to making a difference every day.
Jade Shea, GM at Hugh Myddelton House, is a finalist in the Women Achieving Greatness in Social Awareness Awards – Equality and Diversity category. Jade Shea has worked in social care for 20 years and has been an advocate for Equality and Diversity of people. She joined Barchester Healthcare in 2022, and is a part of our Inclusion Group.

With over 85% of the social care workforce made up of women, many of these hardworking, talented, and dedicated individuals balance the demands of family life alongside their careers. The Women Achieving Greatness in Social Care Awards was established to recognise and celebrate the remarkable contributions of female leaders across all roles and regions of the sector, while also creating a platform to uplift emerging stars and future leaders. The Gala Awards will be held on 28th Nov in London, where the category winners will be announced.
