Cube Homes in the running for top award
Manchester’s Cube Homes has been shortlisted for a prestigious property award, it was announced this week.
The developer, which is currently building new homes at Hawthorn Grange in Lymm in Cheshire, is in the running for the SME Housebuilder of the Year (under 50 homes) title at the North West Insider Residential Property Awards.
The latest accolade follows Cube’s success in the awards in April when the company picked up the title of Boutique Housing Development of the Year for Holcombe View in Whitefield.
Christopher Heath, Managing Director of Cube Homes, said: “There are some amazing housebuilders in this category in the North West, so it is a real honour to have made the shortlist for this award.
“Like all housebuilders we faced a lot of challenges during the pandemic with supply chain issues and delays to build programmes caused by restrictions but we followed all the guidelines and we have come out the other end of it stronger than ever.
“Over the past year we have built 48 much needed new homes and we are looking forward to having an equally busy year in 2023, with developments planned for Oldham and Woodley in Stockport.
“Everyone on the team works so hard and shares the same passion to build the best possible houses for our buyers in great locations, offering properties which are designed to blend in with and enrich their surroundings and are a real alternative to the offerings from some of the volume house builders.”
Cube Homes is the private sector arm of the Great Places Housing Group, which provides affordable social housing across the region. With its profit-for-purpose ethos, all profits generated by Cube Homes is reinvested to help projects across Great Places’ communities.
The winners will be revealed on Thursday 26 January 2023 at a black tie awards dinner at Manchester Central.
