Dandara gives tee-rific donation to Smile4Wessex
Dandara Southern raised a tee-rific £9,114 for charity Smile4Wessex at a recent golf day held at Remedy Oak Golf Course in Ringwood.
More than 80 players attended the event to support the Wessex Neurological Centre in Southampton, which provides acute and specialist care to patients with neurological conditions.
The golfers competed in a range of events including a Team Stableford, Individual Stableford, closest to pins and longest drive.
Paul Ebbs, Operations Director at Dandara Southern, added: “It was a fantastic day, the sun shone, and the standard of golf was very high – there was a lot of good natured rivalry between the teams. I would like to thank everyone who came along and helped us to raise money for Smile4Wessex Charity, which does an incredible job supporting the work of Wessex Neurological Centre.”
Wessex Neurological Centre is one of the largest and most respected neurological centres in the UK and treats disorders affecting the brain, spine and nerves. It serves over three million people from across the South of England and the Channel Islands.
Kathryn Grimes from the Smile4Wessex commented: “We are very thankful to Dandara Southern and all those who took part in the golf day for raising money for Smile4Wessex. The money will be put to very good use to support pioneering research into new treatments for neurological conditions.”
