Daredevil accountants hit new heights with extreme charity challenges
Accountants and team members from London accountancy firm, Grunberg & Co, will be taking part in a skydive and a climb to the top of the O2 arena in aid of charity, Miracles.
Seven staff members will be strapping on parachutes for the skydive, which is due to take place on Saturday 19 October at Hinton Skydive Centre.
They will take it in turns to participate in a tandem skydive that will see them hurtle to earth at speeds in excess of 120 mph from 13,000 feet.
Meanwhile, on 12 October four staff members, including the firm’s Managing Partner, Robert Bean, will attempt to conquer the O2 arena in London.
All the money raised from these events will go to Grunberg & Co’s charity of the year, Miracles.
Miracles support children and their families living in poverty and helps them through crises such as serious illness. They respond to calls for support within 24 hours which is what makes them unique. They ensure that support is there for families when they need it and when it has the most impact.
Miracles vision is that no family living in poverty and facing a life crisis should have to face it alone.
Speaking about the upcoming challenges, Robert said: “Miracles is a wonderful charity and we are delighted that we can do out bit to help raise much-needed funds for it.
“Our team are going above and beyond to help raise money, so I can’t thank them enough for all that they are doing. I hope people will get behind us and donate.”
So far this year the firm has managed to raise more than £2,000 for Miracles but they hope that these latest events will help them get much nearer to their goal of £8,000.
