Deliveroo is offering Brits the chance to get ‘hitched’ at their doorstep this Valentine’s Day

This Valentine’s Day, Deliveroo is pulling back its bow and giving couples the chance to have an imitation ‘wedding’ at their doorstep, delivered by Deliveroo ‘Roo-gistrar Riders’. Due to the pandemic causing a backlog of weddings and civil ceremonies, many couples will be nervously awaiting the big day. The British food-delivery service is providing an ‘practice’ experience for Brits who can’t wait to say “I do”.

Couples can win the chance to have one of Deliveroo’s ‘Roo-gistrar Riders’ arrive at their home and deliver wings and rings as they perform a practice wedding service on their doorsteps. Whether couples are looking to have a taste of tying the knot ahead of getting engaged or want a trial run ahead of their big day, Deliveroo is offering an unforgettable Valentine’s Day experience.

The winning couples won’t just get to practice saying ‘I do’ on their own doorstep; the celebrations will include food too as Deliveroo will also gift the couples with a £100 Deliveroo voucher code, which can be used to order a lavishly romantic meal for two. Whether couples want a curry, pizza or bargain bucket as their ‘wedding meal’, they can tuck into their “wedding breakfast” for FREE. Minimum order, delivery fees and service charges may apply.

What’s more, the ‘Roo-gistrar Riders’ will arrive bearing rings and petals to create the perfect front door ‘wedding’ experience.

All experiences will be held throughout the day on Valentine’s Day (Monday 14th February) across London, Brighton and Edinburgh with Deliveroo trialling the service across these cities, with a view to rolling out nationwide if demand is high.

To be in with a chance of winning this opportunity, customers just need to head to deliveroo.co.uk/more/married-at-first-bite and enter their details to be one of the five selected couples who will have this exciting celebration of love. This competition is open from 1st February until 8th February, so those interested will need to act fast.

Aisha Jefferson, Deliveroo said: “We’re excited to offer couples the chance to get over their nuptial nerves by taking part in our married at first bite experience.
