DICE extends reach into food events as exclusive ticketing partner to food media platform Mob

DICE, the live events and discovery platform, has been named as the exclusive ticketing partner for food media platform, Mob. The multi-year partnership between DICE and Mob will significantly grow DICE’s presence in the food events market while helping to deliver the best live experience for fans at Mob’s growing programme of food events.

The partnership kicks off with the launch party for Mob’s new cookbook, Mob6, at Two Tribes Brewery & Campfire Taproom, in North London, on Saturday 16th September, with tickets available now on DICE. The party is the perfect post-summer pick-me-up for foodie fans, marking DICE and Mob’s arrival together on the food events scene. Mob’s food team will be whipping up recipes from the book, with Foundation FM putting on an all-star billing featuring some of London’s best DJs.

As part of the partnership, DICE will support Mob in expanding its live events offering with new parties, dining experiences, cooking classes and weekender events.

Mob has changed the game for students and young professionals, dishing up tips and recipes for meals that are way tastier than they should be for how easy and affordable they are. Mob is about food you’ll actually cook and events you’re going to love.

DICE brings new fans to Mob’s stellar events programme

DICE’s mission to get people out more pairs perfectly with Mob, which has become famous for layering its food videos with exciting new music, and welcoming incredible guest chefs onto its platform. DICE is known for making it easier for fans to get out more with innovative features such as its Discovery tool, which gives personalised event recommendations. As a result, over 40% of ticket sales on DICE come via Discovery, introducing a wave of new fans to Mob.

DICE’s easy-to-use app locks tickets to smartphones, protecting fans from ticket touts and ensuring upfront, fair and transparent pricing. DICE also offers a Waiting List which gets activated when tickets sell out, so fans can still access tickets at a fair price without engaging in secondary resales, whilst helping organisers like Mob to benefit from hosting sold out events. As part of the partnership, DICE will support Mob in expanding its live events offering with new parties, supper clubs, cooking classes and weekender events.
Lewis Wilde, Head of Music UK at DICE said: “Mob has been crushing the food scene for years and I love how much our values at DICE are aligned with theirs. DICE is all about helping fans discover the best events and Mob has changed the game for how people cook and discover new recipes, music and places to eat out.

“We’re excited to break into the food scene with Mob and together create a new live experience for food that is fun, affordable and accessible for fans.”

Oscar Thornton, Head of Experiences at Mob said: “We’re hugely excited to be working with DICE as our exclusive ticketing partner. We’re on a mission at Mob to bring the best food and cultural experiences to the marketplace, delivering amazing moments for fans and seeking out exciting ways to reach new audiences. DICE shares our values and vision, allowing us to grow our platform and enhance the power of live entertainment.”

DICE accelerates growth with latest funding round

DICE has rapidly expanded in new cities and markets globally, with millions of fans using DICE every month. In the UK, the platform now has over 10,000 events and launched for the first time in Scotland and Liverpool earlier this year. The Mob partnership also follows DICE’s $65 million funding round, announced earlier this month, and a wave of iconic venue signings including Alexandra Palace, the UK’s largest independent venue.
