Do your research – and bag a Black Friday bargain!
Research is essential for bagging the best Black Friday deal, consumers are being advised this year.
November’s Black Friday is the biggest shopping event of the year – now superseding the traditional Boxing Day sales.
This year, Black Friday is officially on Friday, November 24, however some retailers start their sales earlier – and last for longer than just one day.
And Nick Grey, owner of Gtech and inventor of the cordless vacuum, says the trick to getting the best deal is to start your research now.
“Black Friday isn’t one day anymore – often it can be half of November – so being well prepared is key,” says Nick.
“People are still feeling the pinch so, if you’ve got items that you need to buy, Black Friday really can be the best deal to get them for a good price.”
Gtech’s top tips for making the most of Black Friday include:
Firstly, make a list of what you need. If you don’t need it, it’s not a saving – no matter how big the reduction!
Research is key – some deals go live earlier than others, with many Black Friday shopping events being launched mid-November rather than on the ‘day’.
Sign up to the mailing lists of the retailers offering those products; they often give subscribers early access to deals.
Once you find what you are looking for at the right price, make the purchase – some retailers have limited stock of Black Friday items.
Always read the T&Cs; discounted stock sometimes carries different aftercare policies.
Nick adds: “We’ve seen sales five times greater than on Boxing Day – so it really is the shopping event of the year.”
The design-led firm behind the AirRAM Platinum is offering up to 70% off some of its floorcare, power tool and gardening equipment from November 15, 2023, until the end of the month. More at www.gtech.co.uk
