Eataly London hosts Vino Festa
Following the success of their much-loved wine festivals, Eataly has announced the arrival of Vino Festa, their latest event that showcases the very best Italian sparkling wine, served from some of the top wine producers in Italy and perfectly paired with an array of light Italian bites.
Running from Thursday 22nd to Saturday 24th June, Eataly is inviting guests to learn from its host of wine experts, travelling from some of Italy’s most picturesque vineyards exclusively for this three-day event.
Upon arrival at Eataly, wine enthusiasts will be handed their own wine discovery map, outlining where to find each wine producer and food vendor. Hosting over ten sparkling wine producers, Eataly is offering a range of wine tasting packages, where guests can opt to taste either five or ten 75ml servings of sparkling wines, with the option to upgrade their experience to include delicious, limited-edition Italian bites.
Whilst strolling through Eataly’s two-floor store, wander into the UK’s largest Italian winery. Along the way, tuck in and feed appetites with a selection of small, tasty Italian dishes. For the meat lovers, start by tucking into Stuzzichini di salumi & formaggi, a spread of fresh cheese and cured meats, followed by Panino con porchetta, a succulent porchetta sandwich. To satisfy your sweet tooth, enjoy a refreshing Gelato alla vaniglia con glassa di vino e cantucci, a luscious vanilla ice-cream with a red wine glaze and crunchy cantucci biscuit.
While veggie guests can feast on Stuzzichini di Parmigiano “chinara” & taralli, fresh cheese and taralli bites, before indulging in Panino con verdure grigliate e salsa brava, a warm grilled vegetable sandwich topped with a tangy brava sauce that is also vegan.
What’s more, all attendees will receive a wine glass and wine pouch to take home, meaning visitors can pick up a bottle of bubbly to carry on the summer festivities at home, in true Italian style.
