Ella Canta launches innovative new Margarita menu ahead of International Margarita Day

This month, modern Mexican restaurant Ella Canta will launch three stunning new signature Margaritas, just in time for Londoners to enjoy on International Margarita Day. Inspired by the vibrant colours and flavours of Mexico, the three unique offerings will ensure there’s a drink for every Margarita lover – whether they prefer theirs frozen and fruity or short and punchy – and will transport guests on a sensory journey reminiscent of Mexico City.

ARANDAS

This short Margarita is a lighter, South American take on the classic Tommy’s Margarita. Named after a tequila district located in the Highlands of Jalisco, the Margarita features Patron Silver and Agave, and is balanced with a citrusy Mandarin Napoleon, Yuzu Juice, Mango and Yuzu Coulis. Served over a block of ice, the Arandas packs a citrusy punch that all fans of Tommy’s Margaritas will love.

WILPIL
Named after the traditional style of dress worn by Oaxaca women, the Wilpil is an elegant take on a classic Margarita, embodying Ella Canta with fragrant flair. Served tall in an elegant coupe glass, garnished with a butterfly shaped carmel, the cocktail sees Patron Reposado come together with Italicus, a light and citrusy liqueur with hints of lavender and rose. Mixed up with agave and egg white, the addition of basil, lime and bergamot is what makes this fluffy, fragrant drink taste as good as it looks.

NIEVE ROSA

For all frozen Margarita fans, the Nieve Rosa will not disappoint. A spicy twist on a frozen margarita, the Nieve Rosa sees Patron infused Habanero blended with strawberry, lime and lemon verbena – a refreshing cocktail that brings slice of Mexican heat all year round.
