Essex Power 100 executive says “We are more than just a rich list”

This week a consortium of businesses from Essex announced the introduction of a new power list dubbed ‘The Essex Power 100’.

The basis of the list is to curate the most powerful and influential people from the county of Essex or those with a connection or link to the hit county, the maiden list is due to be released this winter.

Early critics have suggested that lists such as these are not always fair as they are judged by people’s wealth, Lewis Drazen an executive at Essex Power 100 told us ‘We are so much more than just a rich list’

He added ‘With research and curation underway our core research team are seeking out individuals who are household names and have made a lasting legacy across the county and in most cases wealth has nothing to do with it’

The list has already sparked early interest that cast members from The Only Way Is Essex flood the list together with local reality TV stars.

The EssexPower100 brand are also welcoming submissions and ideas from members of the public of individuals they would like to see on the list, the list will be judged by a panel of judges before being independently audited and released later in the year.
