European hit Moco Museum reveals monumental collection arriving for Londoners this August

The Modern Contemporary (Moco) Museum, renowned for a vibrant and unapologetically pink celebration of contemporary art and culture, is thrilled to reveal an impressive artist line-up arriving in London this August. Featured artists, many of whom have helped shape modern and contemporary art, will include Jean-Michel Basquiat, Yayoi Kusama, Andy Warhol, Banksy, Keith Haring, Jeff Koons, Damien Hirst, Daniel Arshamand KAWS, among many more. 

The brand new museum will be a permanent addition between London’s Oxford Street, Marble Arch and Hyde Park, spanning 24,000ft² across three floors – contributing to the area’s expanding cultural development.

The museum opens following Moco Museum’s success in Amsterdam and Barcelona, attracting over 5 million visitors since opening from over 120 different nations. Notable Mocovisitors include Barack Obama, Steven Spielberg, Venus Williams, Adele, Tim Cook, Dua Lipa and Idris Elba.

The museum will feature new works, large-scale digital art installations, and extraordinary masterpieces that capture a pivotal intersection of modern and contemporary art. This third cultural London chapter promises to echo Moco’s commitment to exhibiting iconic works by internationally renowned artists and rising stars.

Championed by its founders, Lionel and Kim Logchies, Moco Museum is an initiative with a mission to awaken the world to the inspirational power of art. With over 50 years of combined experience working in the art world, the couple have established an art empire showcasing work acquired and on loan that would otherwise remain unseen in private collections. 

Visitor journey:
Upon entering Moco Museum, visitors will be greeted by the collection of ‘Moco Masters’ showcasing work from world-renowned artists including American pop art icon Andy Warhol; influential African American Jean-Michel Basquiat; Japanese legend Yayoi Kusama; American artist and social activist Keith Haring and English master Damien Hirst; Americanpop culture artists Jeff Koons and Tom Wesselman; and the infamous Pablo Picasso.

Ascending to the first floor, guests will discover the dynamic world of ‘Moco Contemporary Masters’, showcasing works ranging from Tracey Emin, to iconic street artists KAWS andBanksy. British photographer Chris Levine; plus Julian Opie, JR, Takashi Murakami, Hayden Kays. British music icon Robbie Williams will also feature with works from his recently released collection ‘Pride and Self-Prejudice’ which aim to address his personal journey with his mental health and have never before seen in the UK.

On the lower ground floor, visitors are captivated into the impressive world of ‘MocoImmersive Digital Artworks’. Featured artists include Argentinian multimedia artists Pilar Zeta, Andrés Reisinger and Six N. Five; British sculptor Anthony James, whose work recently featured in Netflix hit Glass Onion starring Daniel Craig. Additional digital artworks willinclude Amsterdam contemporary artists Pulse Interactive and Don Diablo, also an award-winning DJ producer; American artist Daniel Arsham; Italian sculptor and Venice Biennale legend Lorenzo Quinn; and Ibiza multidisciplinary artist Miranda Makaroff.

Finally, visitors will enjoy a vibrant Moco store, offering a curated selection of memorabilia.
