Data analysed by BadRhino has found that according to Spotify data, England fans have sung ‘It’s Coming Home’ a whopping 128.9m times in the last 3 weeks alone.
Three Lions has been on repeat around the UK since England continued to qualify through the Euros 2020 tournament. New data analysed Spotify streams of ‘Three Lions’ to find out just how many times England fans have uttered the famous saying.
The study found that ‘It’s Coming Home’ is said 38 times within the popular song by Baddiel, Skinner & Lightning Seeds and with 3,392,670 streams over the last three weeks this means fans have sung along with the famous phrase an incredible 128.9m times.
The retailer also recently launched their own DIY ‘Three Lion Bars on a Shirt’ ahead of the final Euros match to celebrate England making it to the final.
After a game earlier in the tournament, where a fan wore 3 lion bars on his shirt, searches for ‘Lion Bars’ have shot up by 143% all thanks to the image being broadcast around the world, suggesting people wanted to recreate their own versions at home.
