Fetch & Follow’s Walk and Talk Series: October to January 2019 Dates Announced
Having a dog opens a world of opportunity – everyday spells a new adventure each time you hook up your dog’s collar to their lead. You never know who you’re going to meet and the stories you will share. With this is mind, creative hound and human lifestyle brand FETCH + FOLLOW announces their Autumn Winter Walk & Talks series, bringing together pet owners with a different expert or theme each month, for a dog-friendly walk in the capital.
Each session unites like-minded dog lovers and their four-legged friends for an engaging version of a dog’s every day ritual, either for pure fun or with the opportunity to ask the featured expert questions personal to their pet and on-topic to the walk’s theme. Each session also gives attendees the chance to try before you buy with Fetch & Follow’s pet accessories and apparel, so you know your dog is happy and comfy in a purchase. Free to attend, each walk is an intimate session of no more than 12 dogs and their owners, with the owner gifted a Fetch & Follow Doggie Bag themed to the walk. Sessions to date have spotlighted grooming with Lead The Walk’s expert Serena Everton, and training/behavioural advice from popular London trainer Oli Juste. The Autumn Winter schedule includes:
- Sunday 25 November, 11:00 to 12:00, Haggerston – all about festive fun, the session will start in East London’s Haggerston Park then onto Broadway Market before reaching Fetch & Follow’s Christmas Market for Dogs and Dog Lovers. The walking group will all receive an exclusive goodie bag and coffee, along with their very own Christmas snap by popular pet photographer Rachel Oates, who will have a pop-up photo studio at the market. Wearing your festive finest is advised!
- Sunday 16 December, 11:00 to 13:00, Victoria Park – hosted by holistic vet Dr Ciara of Vets In the City, the walk will focus on how to keep your dog well and safe over the festive period. Anticipating the chill of the season, this session will be a reduced walk, more talk with the pack taken to a local dog-friendly cafe for tea, cake, festive cheer and extended time with the expert to discuss wider issues or concerns they may have regarding their pet
- Sunday 20 January 2019, 11:00 to 12:00. Victoria Park – in keeping with New Year, better start approach, this walk will be in conjunction with fresh dog food delivery service Butternut Box and will be focused around healthy eating for your dog
