Four Pillars Gin is giving away Free G&Ts to Aussies to mark The Ashes
The fifth and final test of The (men’s) Ashes comes to The Oval, starting on Thursday 27th July, and to mark the occasion Aussie gin brand Four Pillars is giving away free gin and tonics to Australian fans (sorry, Brits).
Taking over Joe Public on Clapham Common, the gin icon is offering a free modern Australian gin and tonic to anyone producing an Australian passport – ideally their own – in celebration of the oldest rivalry in sport and the Aussie teams doing the double over England.
Despite the men’s series result still being up in the air, the urn is headed back down under once again. Giving the Aussies of South London plenty of reason to celebrate with one of the world’s most awarded gins, served to the summer sound of leather on willow, of course.
Further down the high street, drinkers can enjoy Four Pillars G&Ts at the Old Town Tavern as part of an Aussie takeover to celebrate the conclusion of both the men’s and women’s Ashes series.
Ellie Nash, trade marketing manager at Four Pillars, commented, “Gin is synonymous with London and the British summertime but Four Pillars is as Aussie as it comes. So, we thought the arrival of The Ashes to South London was the perfect moment to celebrate our modern Australian gin going hand-in-hand with the oldest rivalry in sport.”
Can’t make it along or simply don’t have an Australian passport? You can pick up a bottle of Four Pillars from https://www.masterofmalt.com/ and other online retailers.
